'Sofa So Naked' is a departure from Stockings's usual colourful, kitsch and often camp studio shoots which he has become known for the world over.

Described by Bowens Litebook as one of the UK's pre-eminent photographers, he primarily shoots fashion and portraiture, working regularly with celebrities such as Boy George, Samantha Fox, Toyah Willcox and Beverley Knight.

Shooting for magazines as far afield as Australia, Europe and the USA, his work has graced the covers of many international publications and been included in exhibitions and photographic anthologies around the world. Following on from numerous press and magazine articles about his work, in 2009 the prestigious Professional Photographer magazine ran a six page article on him entitled "A Day in the Life of Dean Stockings".

His biggerpixel.co.uk offshoot continues to handle growing numbers of traditional and civil ceremony wedding commissions.
